By developing a better understanding of the nature of the horse and ourselves, the educational program at Inspiration Farm brings horses and people together with an emphasis on the key elements of any relationship -

Mentor for a day (New)
If you are considering the addition of a horse to your life and family. and or are looking to further your education about the daily care and handling of horses, this program is designed for you. This program gives you the opportunity to see what is involved in the daily care and handling of horses. Each participant is partnered with a care provider at Inspiration Farm and shadows that person for a portion of the day. The day's activities include the importance of stall and paddock cleanliness. The physical, psychological and nutritional needs of the horse are discussed throughout the days events. Lunch with trainer Ron Levesque is provided. This program is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cost of the program is $50.00 and is payable to Inspiration Farm at the time of registration. Lunch with trainer Ron Levesque is provided.
Trainer for a day (New)
Are you considering a career with horses, or would like to see what is involved in the training of horses? Per your request we are introducing a new program that enables you to visit Inspiration Farm and observe a day of schooling the horses. The day begins at 8:00am and gives you the opportunity to observe the techniques and demands of working with horses and their owners. The day is filled with working horses of a variety of breeds, and issues. In addition to horse training, participants are invited to observe the sessions of any authorizing client. This program is available every Wednesday and is limited, so please register in advance. The cost of the program is $75.00 and is payable to Inspiration Farm at the time of registration. Lunch with trainer Ron Levesque is provided.

Understanding The Horse:
The psychological and physiological aspects of the horse. Utilizing and sharing our energies with the horse. The significance and difference in consistency and persistency.
There will be a demonstration of the healing energies of Reiki

Ground work:
The importance and difference between love, respect, trust and confidence. Exercises in lunging, round-penning and long-lining.

Your horse’s physical fitness:
The benefits in proper conditioning and having your horse be supple.
How and why?
Massage Therapy demonstration.

Transporting the horse:
This program encompasses the entire transportation process from preparing for the ride, loading the horse, proper driving techniques, to unloading the horse and after transporting your horse what then?
Demonstration on proper driving techniques. Stress levels of both the horse and human. Are the loading issues with the horse or the handler?

Starting the horse under saddle:
Exercises in preventing and or correcting issues in mounting, dismounting, moving forward and not moving forward. This program addresses many issues with horses of all ages. Horses that have never been under saddle as well as seasoned saddle horses.
There will be a saddle fitter available for anyone interested.
